the surf and sand project

From now on I am not looking back on my old notes unless I really have to. Its all forward thinking from here. 

Working all day on “Superdraft”. All notecards. All ideas, in one place and typed up. I’m tired of being a crazy person with little bits of papers around of all my ideas.

Minor Setbacks

So last week I spent all day rewriting my notecards. Plotting the whole movie out. It wasn’t anything drastic I just wanted to type them up in an organized way. I hit print and left the house to go to work.

When I came back my computer was not working. Just not turning on or anything. Needless to say I panicked. I took it to the apple store and they told me a couple of different things. The computer was fine, the computer was dead, or the hard drive failed. Meaning all the work on the new draft would be essentially gone except for the note cards that had printed out. With some luck they figured out that the hard drive was fine.

So I will be getting my computer back in a week. I’m still having a hard time finding time to work on it. Me and Drew have been talking about alot of great ideas for the new draft. I’m extremely excited on the progress of it. It feels like a real movie now.

So worst comes to worst the draft will be done by the end of the year. I’ll have a nice two week break to be in Virginia Beach to devote my time and energy into finishing it.

I’m always thinking about it. I can promise you that.

I don’t know why but staring at a blank note book is far less intimidating than staring at a blinking cursor.

Still working on getting the new draft done. I just need to do it. And stop talking about it.
